Cairngorm McWomble the Terrible
Just a "Morkie" puppy ... trying for world domination through pure cute!
Cairngorm McWomble the Terrible
Waiting to go to the dog park on Flickr.Cairngorm waits impatiently for his Sunday trip to the dog park!
FIrst Haircut on Flickr.Of course top priority when Cairngorm got home from the groomers was getting a nice shiny portrait! But … he was so sleepy that I couldn’t get his best modeling work from him, so I took pity on the wee lad and let him go have a nap. So this image doesn’t properly represent how cute he looks … but it’s not a bad start!
Dancing Morkie on Flickr. This past Sunday we took Cairngorm to a new dog park. It was a hit with both the human and canine members of this pack!
Here’s Cairngorm doing a happy dance at the park. For some reason it made me think of trained animals in a turn-of-the-century circus sideshow or street performers, so I choose processing that brought that feeling out!
Diggin’ Terrier-Style on Flickr.Cairngorm doing his favourite thing in the whole wide world: frenetic excavation! (And making a huge mess in the process — he did not know it at this point, but there was a bath in his future!)
(No — he didn’t dig those big holes in the cliffs behind him — but that’s what he aspires to!)
Fort Funston Puppy Run Panorama on Flickr.Malcolm and Cairngorm running on the beach in puppy paradise (aka Fort Funston, CA)!
Had to do this as a pano so you all could enjoy the scenery as well as the adorableness!
Glamour Shot on Flickr.Cairngorm is five months old now! We think he is growing into his fur well!
So what should a growing lad get but a nice glamour shoot for his birthday?
What Dogs Dream on Flickr.Another shot of Cairngorm at the dog run at Mariner’s Island Park in San Mateo.. The sprinklers turned on, which gives us the wonderful bokeh background.
Actually, that Tamron lens does much better bokeh than I would have given it credit for! It looks like I added the focus later in PS, but it’s actually out-of-camera! (I did futz with the colour tone — thanks Alien Skin!)
Shot with the Tamron AF18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Macro Lens on the Nikon D5000 Camera.
Cuteness On The Go on Flickr.Cairngorm gets his first off-leash run-around in the Sunday afternoon sun at the dog run in Mariner’s Island Park in San Mateo.
Spin Dry | Version B on Flickr. Our wee Cairngorm has a bath. I was lucky to get this shot!
Shot in the bathtub with the Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8 Zoom Super Wide Angle Lens on the Nikon D300 Camera.
